About the Role
We are looking for a UK Sales Manager to lead and elevate our UK sales team, which includes experienced and senior Account Executives. This role offers a clear progression to Head of UK Sales and requires someone who already has hands-on exposure to sales leadership and can coach, challenge, and develop experienced sellers from day one.
This is not an individual contributor role. Success in this position is defined primarily by the performance, consistency, and progression of the team.
As the UK business scales, this role offers a clear and credible progression path to Head of UK Sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the UK Account Executive team to drive consistent revenue performance and forecast accuracy
- Build a strong coaching culture through regular 1:1s, deal and pipeline reviews, and hands-on support
- Act as senior escalation for complex or high-value deals, providing support where it improves outcomes
- Drive the UK go-to-market and outbound sales motion in partnership with SDRs
- Embed MEDDPICC, Challenger, and SPIN methodologies, setting clear standards for qualification, CRM hygiene, and deal progression
- Own UK sales targets, forecasting, and key performance metrics
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, RevOps, Product, and HR
- Represent the company at UK events and industry forums
Profile & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in SaaS sales (SMB–Mid-Market)
- Senior Account Executive, Team Lead, or Player-Coach with hands-on leadership exposure
- Proven experience coaching and developing salespeople, including senior peers
- Comfortable leading deal reviews, pipeline discussions, forecasting, and call coaching
- Strong outbound sales experience and understanding of pipeline generation
- Practical experience with MEDDPICC, Challenger, and/or SPIN
- Coach-first, data-driven leader with strong CRM discipline
- Confident challenging constructively while maintaining trust and credibility
- Thrives in a remote-first, fast-paced scale-up environment
- Strong ownership mindset, communication skills, and willingness to travel within the UK
Progression & Growth
This role is intentionally designed as a stepping stone to Head of UK Sales.
As the UK organisation grows, progression may include:
- Full ownership of UK sales strategy and execution
- Hiring, scaling, and leading the UK AE and SDR teams
- Broader commercial leadership responsibility across the region
