Role Description: This is a short-term, on-site contract role for a Freelance Video Journalist at Travel and Tour World in Hong Kong. The Freelance Video Journalist will be our on-the-ground media representative, responsible for conducting video interviews, networking with industry leaders, writing news reports, and producing content for our media platforms during the IHIF Asia.

• This is a 3-day assignment.
• The journalist will be required to conduct and record on-site video/audio interviews, write and publish articles to our portal, attend key press conferences and seminars, and represent our brand professionally. The event, IHIF Asia, is being held at Regent Hong Kong.
• Event Dates: September 17-19, 2025

Qualifications

• Proven experience in video journalism, including conducting and recording professional interviews.
• Strong portfolio showcasing video content and published news articles.
• Excellent command of the English language with exceptional writing and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to write compelling press releases, news stories, and web content under tight deadlines.
• Solid understanding of broadcasting standards and journalistic ethics.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced event environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency with digital media tools, social media platforms, and basic video editing.
• Experience within the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry is highly advantageous.
• A degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.
