We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join the team at Chung Yung Cycle Co in North District. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in driving new business growth and identifying strategic opportunities for the company.
Responsibilities
- Retail Expansion & Strategy — Identify new sales leads, expand market presence, and develop strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Process Optimization — Analyze store performance, streamline retail operations (inventory management, procurement-to-replenishment, omnichannel sync between stores/e-commerce/wholesale, order processing), increase inventory turnover, reduce stock buildup, and build data monitoring systems for sales/profit/inventory insights and action plans.
- New Product Development (NPD) — Manage the end-to-end process of launching new products or services to market.
- Relationship Management & Market Intelligence — Build/maintain key client, partner, and internal relationships; analyze trends and competitive landscape to generate informed business proposals.
Requirements
- Proven track record in retail business development, project management, or sales leadership.
- Strong retail expertise in store operations, merchandising, or retail planning.
- Hands-on experience in process optimization (inventory, supply chain, full omnichannel workflow re-engineering cases).
- Proven own-brand new product development experience.
- Strong BD drive: Proactive in opening new clients and partnerships/new opportunities.
- Solid understanding of bicycle or sports/outdoor industry (A plus).
- Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
- Fluent in Cantonese/English; Mandarin.
