Day Rate of an interim Group Reporting Manager: £350.00 per day
As the Group Reporting Manager, you will work closely with the senior management team and stakeholders to ensure that the Group’s annual and interim accounts to shareholders and to the UK Stock Exchange are prepared to the highest standards and within the Group’s reporting deadlines.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with the completion of external announcements and annual/interim report to meet the UK regulatory requirements
- Provide technical accounting guidance across the Group – Board, Senior management and Divisional finance teams in accordance with IFRS & UK GAAP
- Prepare UK statutory accounts including ones for dormant companies
- Draft, communicate and manage the implementation of accounting policies, procedures and controls to obtain the highest integrity of financial reporting
- Liaison with auditors
- Assist with the planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, including the consolidated Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
- Support Finance teams based in other UK sites through month end, the budget process, financial analysis and other ad hoc projects
- Maintain a focus on strong internal controls and develop further the Group Reporting department’s processes to ensure consistent compliance with best practice
Skills & experience:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Proven track record preparing financial statements for listed companies
- Extensive experience of multi-national group consolidation under IFRS and technical accounting
