We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Residential Conveyancer to join our growing team in Preston.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2+ years’ experience who takes pride in delivering exceptional client service and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will manage transactions from instruction to completion, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and efficient journey for all parties.

Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload of residential sales and purchases from start to finish.
  • Prepare, review, and draft legal documentation, including contracts and transfer deeds.
  • Conduct property searches and carry out thorough due diligence checks.
  • Build strong relationships and liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and lenders.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records using our case management systems.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues to prevent delays and ensure timely completions.
  • Prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines without compromising on quality.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing (PQE preferred).
  • A solid understanding of the entire conveyancing process and legal requirements.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage a busy workload under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using case management software.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering a first-class service.

Preferred Skills

  • Relevant legal qualifications are desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
