Managing Director – Learning and Education Services Provider
We are currently working on behalf of a leading learning and education business in their search for a new MD. The role is available due to retirement of the current MD and restructuring of the board across the UK. They are part of a global business that offers accredited and professional learning and education services on a worldwide basis.
The new MD will oversee the general activities of the staff with regards to representation with government bodies, international trade organisations, non-governmental bodies and professional and International corporate businesses and will work closely with the commercial teams to instigate a strategic sales and marketing plan.
To apply for this prestigious and high profile role, it is essential that you have experience of working in an International business environment or International organisation ideally in a Senior Executive/Board position. You will most likelly have been responsible for a wide range of activities and had close involvement in shaping, leading and directing functions including promotion of the brand, communications and growth strategies.
You should have knowledge of working within an International, multi-cultural environment and experience in change management and bringing together diverse , remote teams.
Experience of working in a similar training, learning or education business will be beneficial although not essential. Most importantly, you should appreciate and understand the requirements of working with educational bodies, government and other related sectors . This is a critical appointment for the business and you will be joining them at an exciting time of continued planned growth and development.
