Overview

As the Training Delivery Manager (TDM), you will report to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and be responsible for ensuring student training is delivered according to Leading Edge Aviation’s processes, procedures and National Approvals Authority (NAA) regulations. The role focuses on maintaining the smooth flow of students across all training elements, prioritising individuals when needed and ensuring timely completion using strategic modelling and data tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Student Progress: Ensure all students progress through training seamlessly and complete training within agreed timescales. Liaise across departments to ensure smooth progressions across areas – from sales into Ground School, Ground School into Flight School, and between the Oxford and Alhama campuses. Prioritise students approaching tests and coordinate with external agencies in line with regulations. Identify pipeline blockages and offer solutions with stakeholders.
  • Resource Modelling: Utilise Aeroplanned as the strategic resource modelling tool. Maintain the tool’s accuracy, directing area owners to provide weekly input. Provide outputs from the tool as required by the business. Use it tactically to direct resources at students or courses as needed.
  • Leadership and Administration: Attend administrative and management meetings as required. Liaise with internal stakeholders involved in student progression. Engage external agents such as airlines to update planned student completion dates. Lead the weekly Student Progress Meeting involving all business components to monitor progress and manage deficiencies. Attend open days and events as requested by the senior manager.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Assist in identified projects aligned with experience and capabilities. Participate in Management Team meetings and support peers across the business. Demonstrate and uphold the company’s core values in all actions.
