Aviation Ramp Assistant - Oxford

We are looking for a flexible and safety conscious Ramp Assistant to assist our business in maintaining a smooth operation by ensuring our aircraft are flight ready. This is a hands‑on role based right at the heart of an exciting airport environment. A Ramp Assistant is a vital role within the Operations Team and ensures the aircraft, staff and students have everything they need to safely take to the skies.

Compensation: £25,397 / year

Role Duties

• Ensure all aircraft are appropriately refuelled and oil levels at the required level
• Ensure all aircraft are cleaned and fit for flight, both internally and externally
• Move aircraft in and out hangar and around the apron as required
• Maintain hangar cleanliness.
• Carry out de‑icing duties as required
• Maintain a high standard of safety and presentation at all times when operating.
• Undertake daily, weekly and monthly vehicle and ground equipment and fuel checks
• Escort visitors airside as required
• Provide vital support to the Operations Team
• Demonstrate and uphold the company’s core values in all actions, decisions, and interactions.

• A full UK driving licence (essential)

• A flexible approach to working hours; the team participate in a shift pattern to cover a 7‑day week operation which covers weekend and evening working on a rotational basis.
