We are looking for an MCCI (Multi-Crew Cooperation Instructor) to join our team of expert instructors. You will be a qualified and current MCCI, fully capable of delivering all elements of the Airline Pilot Standard Multi Crew Cooperation (APS MCC) course, both in the simulator and classroom environment. You will also collaborate with the wider team of MCCI instructors to ensure excellence throughout the department. This is a part-time role working up to 32 hours a week on a rota basis, based at our campus just outside of Oxford.
ROLE DUTIES
- Deliver high quality and engaging lessons to our student pilots, both in ground school and the simulator.
- Work closely within the team of instructors to maintain an efficient, professional and quality training department.
- Assist with planning the APS MCC schedule and entering it onto Flight Logger.
- Assist in developing current or additional courses as required to reflect changes in regulations, relationships with airlines or introduction of new FSTDs.
- Any other duties required by Head of Training and/or Chief MCCI from time to time.
CORE COMPETENCIES
- Current UK CAA qualified MCCI (Dual UK/EASA MCCI desirable).
- TRI/TRE and SFI/SFE (desirable).
- A320 and/or 737 experience (minimum of 2 years).
- 2 years’ experience to be in the last 5 years to ensure knowledge of current Airline Operations (desirable).
- Demonstrable experience as an MCCI delivering APS MCC courses (or previous experience as an instructor).
