Leading Authorities International Ltd seeks a driven, speaker sales professional to join our small team for our UK-based operations. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. Qualified candidates should have a knowledge of the speaking and/or entertainment industry, show a successful sales record, demonstrate a network in the business community and have previous sales/speaker sales experience. This position reports directly to the Managing Director, UK office.
As an Account Manager, you will:
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong client relationships
- Contact customers and leads to sell speakers for business, entertainment and dinner events
- Generate new leads through various channels and methods
- Create effective sales proposals and negotiate contracts with potential clients and speakers
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and receive feedback
- Utilise our CRM software to track sales activities and customer interactions
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process
- Manage questions and resolve issues from speakers and clients promptly and professionally
- Be a good team player, working closely with a tight-knit team but also able to work independently
- Have good networking skills, be social and outgoing
- Represent LAI at events and dinners
- Meet with clients and attend events in and outside the UK
- Travel to US headquarters in Washington, DC, USA (1-2 times a year)
Benefits:

Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferable
- Proven experience in a sales position in a speaker bureau or a similar organisation
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in relevant IT software and tools
