If you've worked in property and you're used to juggling a portfolio while chasing updates, this role will feel different. At Albany, you manage your own portfolio and you are the main point of contact for both landlord and tenant. You deal with the issue, follow it through, and keep control of it. It is a busy role, but it is structured. You will know what needs done and when, with clear processes behind you and a team that steps in when things build up. With a pending acquisition and continued growth, we are expanding our Edinburgh team.
What you'll be responsible for:
- You will manage a portfolio of residential properties day to day, including:
- Acting as the main contact for landlords and tenants
- Overseeing tenancies from move in through to move out
- Handling maintenance through Fixflo, coordinating contractors and tracking progress
- Carrying out inspections, recording property condition and issuing written follow up
- Keeping compliance on track - safety certificates, renewals, and documentation
- Managing rent arrears with clear communication and documented actions
- Maintaining accurate records across your portfolio
