The Role
As a Community Nurse, you’ll manage your own caseload while delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care within the community. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering IV therapies, injections, and specialist treatments in patients' homes
- Managing a caseload of approximately 4-5 patients per day
- Providing education and ongoing support to patients and their families
- Working closely with NHS partners and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitoring patient progress and escalating concerns appropriately
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and high professional standards
