Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee complex paediatric care packages, including comprehensive assessments, care planning, clinical reviews, and risk assessments.
- As the Paediatric Clinical Lead, provide clinical leadership through supervision, competency assessments, mentorship, and ongoing support for Registered Nurses and care teams.
- Drive clinical governance by completing medication audits, spot checks, investigations, and quality improvement initiatives to maintain the highest standards of care.
- Work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary professionals while delivering specialist clinical training and providing emergency clinical support when required.
About You
- Registered Children's Nurse or Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration and experience suitable for a Paediatric Clinical Lead role.
- Minimum two years' experience managing complex care packages, including tracheostomy, ventilation, spinal injuries, neurological conditions, or acquired brain injuries.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Somerset and Worcestershire.
