Quality and Compliance Manager Location: Ideally based in Stockport, with travel across homes in the North and South. Salary: Circa £65,000. Are you a qualified nurse with a strong background in care home quality and compliance? This is an opportunity to help improve standards across a portfolio of homes, working closely with managers to deliver safe, effective and person-centred care. Our client is looking for a nurse-qualified Quality and Compliance Manager, ideally based in Stockport. Previous care home management experience would be advantageous. The role Monitor quality, clinical governance and regulatory compliance across the homes. Carry out audits and service reviews, identifying risks and agreeing practical improvement plans. Support home managers to strengthen care standards and embed sustainable improvements. Review incidents, safeguarding concerns and clinical practice to identify learning and prevent recurrence. Support inspection readiness and follow through on improvement actions. Provide clear reporting on quality performance, risks and progress.What you will bring A nursing qualification and current NMC registration. Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and clinical governance within care homes. Experience in quality assurance, compliance or care home leadership. Ideally, previous experience as a Home Manager. The ability to challenge poor practice constructively and support teams to improve. Willingness to travel regularly across homes in the North and South.Interested?
