If you are an experienced Children's Social Worker looking for a long-term contract within a supportive Children in Need and Child Protection team, this opportunity offers stability, flexibility, and manageable workloads.
Based in Yorkshire, you'll join a well-established team with an average caseload of just 18, minimal court work, and a hybrid working model requiring only two office days per week.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of Children in Need and Child Protection cases.
- Complete statutory assessments, plans, and reviews in line with legislation and best practice.
- Build effective relationships with children, families, and partner agencies to improve outcomes.
- Undertake visits, risk assessments, and safeguarding interventions.
- Contribute to care proceedings where required, although court work is kept to a minimum.
- About You
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Recent experience within a Children in Need and/or Child Protection team.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory responsibilities.
- Confident in managing complex cases and working collaboratively with partner agencies.
