We are currently looking for an experienced social worker to work for an authority in the Vale of Glamorgan area.

They have successful teams where they are looking for someone to work on a hybrid/flexible model and would need full requirement to Social Care Wales

Workers are able to be consistent, focussed and kind in their work with children, young people and their families / carers making a real difference to children and families when circumstances are challenging. Managers are readily available and staff wellbeing is a priority across all teams.

As a social worker you will complete a range of assessments, conducting section 47 enquiries and establish long term family plans. You need to asses what is needed for children & families where you have a caseload of 20-22 families.

Full time equivalent qualified social workers (salary range £39, 834 – £48,421 including £5,000 annual enhancement) These roles include responsibility for assessments, section 47 enquiries, initial child protection and court work, before transfer to longer-term teams.
