You will have the opportunity to experience every aspect of social work within their Safeguarding Team; therefore allowing you to progress in your social work practice; as well as the opportunity to forge out a managerial career. As one of our Senior Practitioners, you’ll find everything designed to assist you in achieving the most positive outcomes. Because Birmingham are focused on children and young people’s safeguarding and wellbeing and nothing else, you’ll be free to do the same. You’ll play a lead role on our relationship-based, trauma informed practice model, managing a complex caseload, providing technical and professional expertise, as well as mentoring and professional support to the rest of the less experienced social work team members and students.
