Are you a passionate Paediatric Nurse with leadership experience, and looking to make a real difference? We are looking for a dedicated Senior Paediatric Nurse to lead a wonderful clinical team within a state-of-the-art Hospice in Barnet. This role comes with a salary up to £49,976, a £5,000 welcome bonus and other excellent benefits! This role is working within a children’s hospice in North London, offering specialist care and support for babies, children, and young people with serious health conditions. The facility provides a safe and nurturing environment where children can play, explore, and build confidence. Rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission, the charity has seen significant growth and is committed to continuing its success with high-quality staff. As a Senior Paediatric Nurse, you will: Provide direct line management support to Band 5 Nurses, alongside Band 3 and 4 carers Supervise and mentor team members Plan and review care with parents, children, and young people to ensure safety Ensure fun, sensitivity, compassion, and confidentiality in all care provided Administer medications according to policies and procedures Maintain nutritional status and clinical skills necessary for holistic care Package and Benefits: Annual salary up to £49,976 DOE £5,000 joining bonus over three years (£500 on appointment) 25 days annual leave, increasing to 30 days with service, plus the option to buy or sell up to 5 days Interest-free season ticket loan Pension contributions up to 8% Flexible working opportunities Life assurance (4x annual salary) The ideal Senior Paediatric Nurse will have: RSCN registration with the NMC Relevant post-qualification experience at Band 6 level or above Excellent clinical, communication and leadership skills Experience in palliative care or nursing children with life-limiting conditions Strong organisational and time management skills A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude Do you match the above criteria?
