What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting adults affected by drug and alcohol misuse through strengths-based assessments and interventions
- Managing a varied caseload, creating tailored support plans that promote recovery and independence
- Working closely with healthcare professionals, housing providers, probation services, and other partner agencies
- Completing risk assessments and safeguarding interventions where required
- Building positive relationships with service users, empowering them to achieve their recovery goals
- Contributing to multidisciplinary meetings to ensure coordinated, person-centred support
- Promoting long-term wellbeing through effective care planning and regular reviews

What We're Looking For
- Qualified Social Worker
- Current registration with Social Work England (SWE)
- Experience working within Adult Social Care, Substance Misuse, Mental Health, or a related service
- Confident in completing assessments, care planning, and risk management
- Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and person-centred practice
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Full UK driving licence
