Registered Home Manager (RGN/RMN/RNLD) Specialist Neurological Care Service Redcar £55,000 - £60,000 + Flexible Working

Most Home Manager roles ask you to fix problems. This one gives you the opportunity to build on success.

We're recruiting for a Registered Home Manager to lead a highly regarded specialist neurological care service supporting adults living with complex conditions including Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, Stroke-related needs, Acquired Brain Injuries and other neurological conditions.

This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established charity-owned service that is already operating from a position of strength, allowing you to focus on leadership, continuous improvement and resident outcomes rather than firefighting.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • A stable and experienced staff team with many long-serving employees.
  • Strong occupancy levels and an excellent reputation across the local healthcare community.
  • Full CQC compliance.
  • Up-to-date DoLS, risk assessments, policies and governance systems.
  • An exceptionally strong Clinical Lead providing day-to-day clinical oversight.
  • A supportive Board of Trustees committed to investing in the service rather than extracting profit.

Most importantly, you'll have the autonomy to genuinely lead the home.

Reporting to a part-time Responsible Individual and Board of Trustees, you'll be trusted to run the service your way. The board provides support and strategic guidance when needed but does not interfere in the day-to-day operation of the home.

For an ambitious manager who wants to leave a lasting legacy, opportunities like this rarely come to market.

The Service

The home provides specialist nursing care for 23 residents living with neurological conditions.

Clinical standards are exceptionally high, supported by:

  • Two Nurses and six Carers on duty during the day.
  • One Nurse and three Carers overnight.
  • Robust governance systems.
  • Comprehensive handovers where every resident is discussed to ensure continuity of care and proactive clinical decision-making.

The culture is collaborative, supportive and resident-focused, with teams working together to consistently deliver outstanding outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing visible leadership across the service.
  • Maintaining and enhancing quality and compliance standards.
  • Leading, developing and inspiring a stable multidisciplinary team.
  • Building positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
  • Supporting occupancy and reputation within the local community.
  • Driving continuous improvement and service development.
  • Ensuring the home remains a centre of excellence for neurological care.

What We're Looking For

  • Registered Nurse qualification (RGN, RMN or RNLD).
  • Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager.
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and governance.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • A passion for delivering person-centred care.
  • Commercial awareness alongside a commitment to quality outcomes.

Salary & Benefits

  • £55,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • One work-from-home day per week.
  • Supportive Board and Responsible Individual.
  • Stable, well-resourced service.
  • Charity-owned organisation reinvesting profits back into resident care.
  • Opportunity to shape the future direction of a respected specialist service.

Why Join?

This isn't a turnaround project. This isn't a service in crisis. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a respected, well-run home with strong foundations, excellent clinical support and the freedom to make a genuine impact.

If you're a nurse-qualified leader looking for a role where you can focus on quality, culture and resident outcomes while maintaining a healthy work-life balance, we'd love to speak with you.
