Location: Hertfordshire (Hybrid – 2 days from home, 3 days in the community)

Salary: Up to £50,000 + £3,000 car allowance

Due to continued growth, our client is expanding in the Hertfordshire area and looking for a dedicated nurse leader to join our team!

The Role:

As a Paediatric Clinical Lead, you will provide hands-on support to children and their families while designing personalised care plans. You will work closely with a team of carers, offering training and clinical supervision to ensure high-quality, safe, and effective care.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN) with at least 18 months UK experience and an active NMC PIN
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to support and develop a team
  • Up-to-date experience in tracheostomy care and ventilators (within the last 2 years)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with families and healthcare teams
  • Band 5 / Band 6 Nurses with proven leadership experience are welcome to apply
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

Key Responsibilities for a Paediatric Clinical Lead:

  • Develop tailored care plans to meet individual client needs
  • Oversee and support a team of carers, ensuring high clinical standards
  • Provide ongoing monitoring, assessments, and interventions
  • Work closely with MDTs, CHC nurses, and CCG commissioners to maintain bespoke care packages
  • Build strong relationships with children and their families
