This is a fantastic opportunity for an Outpatient Nurse with a passion for patient care. With a salary ranging from £30,000 to £35,000 per year and an additional £250 for out-of-hours telephone calls once a month, this role offers great financial rewards. This role involves working across two clinic locations, with three days per week at the Leeds clinic and two days at the Manchester clinic. Travel expenses, including mileage or train fares, will be covered for travel between sites.
As an Outpatient Nurse, you will:
Manage your own clinic diary, ensuring all patient appointments are scheduled.
Provide top-notch customer service and communicate patient progress with the Surgeon and healthcare team.
Handle consumable and drug ordering for home clinics.
Support patients with clinical issues and act as a liaison between the Surgeon and Patient Care Co-ordinator.
Attend clinics as needed and be part of the emergency on-call team.
Develop skills in pre and post-operative care and theatre practices.
Conduct audits and ensure compliance with CQC outcomes.
Participate in staff training and education programmes.
Lead by example and uphold clinical best practices.
Ensure adherence to Infection Control policies and conduct audits.Package and Benefits:
