As Head of Clinical Services, you will balance hands-on clinical leadership with operational oversight, supporting teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care while maintaining safe, effective services.

About the Company:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior leadership, direction and operational management across clinical services, deputising for the Hospital Director when required.
  • Lead clinical governance and continuous improvement to deliver excellent acute elective surgical and medical outcomes.
  • Oversee resources to sustain agreed activity levels, including workforce planning, budgets, management reporting and supply contracts.
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders including Consultants, ICS partners, GPs and suppliers.

About You:

  • Senior clinical leadership experience within acute elective surgical and or medical services.
  • NMC or HCPC registration, with proven experience working in a surgical environment.
  • Demonstrable track record of leading teams to meet CQC requirements and clinical governance standards.
