We are recruiting for an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse to provide specialist cancer care to patients within their own homes across Northamptonshire. This ongoing agency contract offers guaranteed full-time hours, excellent rates of pay and a manageable workload.

Package & Benefits

  • £40 - £45 per hour depending on experience
  • Guaranteed 37.5 hours per week

The Role

As an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse, you will deliver high-quality oncology care within the community, including:

  • Venepuncture and blood collection
  • Toxicity assessments
  • IV and oral chemotherapy administration
  • Pump disconnections
  • Central line and PICC line care
  • IM and SC injections
  • Patient education and support
  • Clinical documentation
  • Liaison with oncology teams and multidisciplinary professionals

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Active NMC registration as an RGN
  • Previous Oncology, Haematology or Chemotherapy experience
  • Competency in Cannulation and Venepuncture
  • SACT Passport or equivalent chemotherapy qualification
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently within the community
