We’re looking for a Clinical Case Manager (Chemotherapy) to join our Southampton-based team and play a pivotal role in supporting patients throughout their cancer treatment journey.
As a Clinical Case Manager, you’ll be the trusted clinical link between patients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams. Working remotely and out in the field (5 days out of 6), you’ll oversee the full end-to-end patient pathway—ensuring treatments are safe, compliant, and delivered seamlessly, while patients feel supported every step of the way.
About the Role

- Ensure treatment plans are accurate, compliant, and aligned with clinical protocols
- Coordinate care across pharmacists, nurses, schedulers, and external consultants
- Maintain the highest standards of clinical governance and patient safety
This is a highly autonomous role where your clinical expertise, organisation, and communication skills will truly shine.
Core Objectives
- Onboard new patients: Review clinical documentation, create treatment plans, and conduct onboarding calls
- Manage treatment plans: Monitor visits, prescriptions, pathology results, and protocol compliance
- Coordinate stakeholders: Liaise with internal teams and external consultants to manage changes and resolve queries
- Ensure regulatory compliance: Adhere to CQC, GDPR, and NMC standards while keeping clinical knowledge up to date
- Close treatment cycles: Audit and finalise documentation and systems at the end of each treatment cycle
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification
- SACT qualification
- Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience
- Extensive chemotherapy nursing background
- Confidence working autonomously and managing complex clinical pathways
