Are you an experienced AMHP looking for a role where you can focus on what you do best, without the responsibility of managing a caseload? You’ll be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate that reflects your specialist AMHP experience. Plus, if you know another AMHP who would like to join you, successfully refer them and you’ll earn £500.

You will be working in a pure AMHP role, with no case management, caseloads or care coordination. Your focus will be on carrying out Mental Health Act assessments and providing specialist AMHP input within a supportive and collaborative team.

You will work 3 x 12-hour shifts per week on a rolling pattern, with shifts of:

  • 08:00–20:00
  • 10:00–22:00
  • 12:00–00:00

You will also complete just 2 standby shifts over an 8-week period. During standby, you are able to sleep overnight but may be contacted if a Mental Health Act Assessment (MHAA) is required. You’ll have the opportunity to use your specialist skills without the additional pressure of holding a caseload, while working alongside healthcare professionals and external agencies to support people experiencing mental health crisis.
