We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our team in Manchester city centre as part of a Multi-Channel Marketing Level 3 Apprenticeship with Apprentify. This is a hands-on opportunity to work across campaigns, social media, email, and digital platforms, gaining exposure to multiple areas of marketing within a fast-paced recruitment environment. Working under the mentorship of an experienced Marketing Manager, you’ll build real, commercially valuable skills from day one and develop the foundations for a long-term career in marketing.
We’ve been recognised as a Best Place to Work by The Sunday Times for the last three years.
The Apprenticeship: This isn’t a traditional marketing role. We’re looking for an ambitious Marketing Assistant to join the team and support marketing across our business. You’ll gain hands-on experience across both B2B and B2C recruitment marketing, working across multiple markets and audiences. From campaigns and content to digital platforms and reporting, you’ll be involved in all areas of marketing in an environment where things move quickly, expectations are high, and no two days are the same. You’ll be trusted with responsibility, challenged to improve, and given the opportunity to develop quickly in a business where performance is recognised and progression is there for those who earn it.
What You’ll be Doing:
- Design: Creating marketing materials to support new business, including pitch decks and proposals, alongside internal EVP content and external brand assets.
- Social Media: Working closely with our agency to generate ideas for content, and reviewing and refining externally produced posts.
- Website: Uploading and updating website content including blogs, landing pages and data capture forms.
- Events & Webinars: Supporting the planning, promotion, and delivery of webinars and events, including managing invites, attendance, and follow-up activity.
- Campaigns: Working closely with the Marketing Manager to coordinate content, messaging, and campaign delivery across multiple markets, building confidence as you develop.
- Email Marketing: Building, scheduling, and tracking campaigns.
- Job Adverts: Monitoring advert quality against brand and SEO guidelines, and reporting on usage and performance.
- Client Marketing: Supporting the creation of reports, mapping documents, and insights for retained client packages.
- Reporting: Pulling data and supporting the creation of marketing reports.
About Us: We operate across a range of specialist recruitment markets, including private healthcare, social work, educational psychology and psychological therapies (ADHD, Autism & CAMHS), each with their own challenges, audiences, and pace. We deliver permanent and contract recruitment in a fast-moving environment where no two markets or two days look the same. Everything we do is focused on connecting clients with the right talent and building strong candidate pipelines across our sectors. It’s a high-performance culture where standards are high and things move quickly. Marketing plays a big part in that, supporting how we win new business, strengthen existing client relationships, attract new candidates, and build brand awareness across our markets.
About You: Proactive and takes initiative, rather than waiting to be told what to do. Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Passionate about marketing and building a long-term career in the industry. Eager to learn and develop across different areas of marketing. Creative, with an interest in how content, design, and messaging engage different audiences. Performance-driven and motivated by results and improvement. Comfortable using technology, systems, and digital tools.
