Are you an experienced Senior Nurse or Deputy Manager looking for your next step? We're recruiting for a Deputy Manager in Longfield, Dartford, offering from £24 per hour (£49,920+ per annum) for a 40-hour week, with a fantastic split of 22 hours working clinically as Nurse in Charge and 18 dedicated management hours each week.

This is a great opportunity to join an established nursing home providing high-quality nursing and dementia care, combining hands-on clinical leadership with protected time to focus on the management and development of the service.

As Deputy Manager, you'll:

  • Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home
  • Take responsibility as Nurse in Charge during clinical shifts
  • Lead, support and develop Nurses and the wider care team
  • Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate and person-centred care
  • Oversee care planning, medication management and clinical documentation
  • Complete audits and support clinical governance and compliance
  • Liaise with residents, families and external healthcare professionals
  • Help maintain high standards across both nursing and dementia care

We're looking for:

  • A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Deputy Manager and/or Senior Nurse
  • Strong nursing home experience
  • Good experience supporting residents living with dementia
  • Confident clinical leadership and people-management skills
  • Someone comfortable balancing hands-on nursing with management responsibilities
