We are currently working alongside an established children's residential care provider in North East London, who are looking for an experienced Residential Manager to lead their 5 bed EBD children's home, supporting young people aged 11‑17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager who feels stagnant in their current role with no further progression, or an experienced Deputy who is keen to further their career this year, to join an established home which has been open for 5+ years, and an organisation that offers further opportunities for progression regularly should you wish.

You will be responsible for setting up and overseeing the full operational management of the home, managing a team of 5 (1 Team Lead and 4 Support Workers), to support the Ops Manager and RI in creating a safe, trauma‑informed environment where the children in the service can thrive.

Requirements:
  • Level 4 or 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Residential Childcare)
  • 3+ years' experience in residential childcare (incl. 1+ years in management)
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, Ofsted standards & care regulations
  • Skilled in team leadership, service development & partnership working
