Work as an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse for a nationally recognised, specialist provider of Cancer Care. This is a community-based role covering Inverness and the Highland council area, working via our agency on a temporary contract. As an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse, you will provide oncology patients with a range of treatments in their own homes. This role offers 32 to 40 hour contracts per week, with guaranteed shifts, working 4 or 5 days per week. Contracts are issued on a 3 month basis, with flexibility to extend.
Responsibilities:
- See patients for bloods
- Toxicity assessments
- IV chemotherapy
- Oral chemotherapy
- Pump disconnections
- Line care
- IM and SC injections
- And related community oncology interventions
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of £43 to £48 per hour based on experience

Requirements:
- Active NMC Pin as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in Oncology, Haematology or Chemotherapy is essential
- Cannulation and venepuncture experience
- Full UK driving licence
- SACT Passport or equivalent qualification
