Location: North & West London

Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days from home and 3 days in the community

Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 + Bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

We are recruiting for a Paediatric Clinical Lead to join one of the UK's leading nurse-led complex care providers supporting children and young people with highly complex healthcare needs across North and West London. This role offers the opportunity for a Paediatric Clinical Lead to oversee a well-supported caseload of up to 11 complex care packages. The caseload is predominantly paediatric, with a small number of adult complex care packages, all located across North and West London. You'll work closely with families, care teams, case managers, commissioners and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure safe, effective and person-centred care while maintaining the highest standards of clinical governance and service delivery.

The Role

As a Paediatric Clinical Lead, you will:

  • Provide clinical leadership across up to 11 community complex care packages
  • Complete clinical assessments and support package mobilisation
  • Develop and maintain care plans and risk assessments
  • Deliver clinical training and competency assessments
  • Conduct spot checks, clinical observations and governance audits
  • Support medication management and clinical governance processes
  • Lead safeguarding investigations and risk management activities
  • Work collaboratively with families, case managers and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in the on-call rota when required
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and service development projects
  • Ensure all packages remain safe, compliant and clinically effective

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Active NMC registration as an RSCN or RN Child
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within paediatric complex care or community healthcare
  • Experience providing clinical leadership, mentorship or supervision
  • Recent tracheostomy and ventilation experience within the last 2 years
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and clinical governance
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work autonomously within the community
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
