Are you an experienced Residential or Nursing Care Home Manager, Interim Home Manager, or Turnaround Manager with a proven track record of running compliant Care Homes? Do you have experience stabilising services, improving compliance, strengthening leadership teams, and preparing homes for successful regulatory outcomes?

We are working with a Medium sized Care Home in Falkirk that requires an experienced Interim Turnaround Manager to support the existing leadership team and drive significant operational improvement. This is a hands-on assignment for a results-driven leader who can quickly assess challenges, implement improvement plans, and create a positive culture that delivers sustainable change.

The Opportunity

As the Interim Care Home Turnaround Manager, you will work alongside the existing operations team to identify areas requiring improvement and deliver a structured turnaround plan. You will provide visible leadership across the home, improve operational performance, and help create a stable environment for residents, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the turnaround of a 50 bed care home.
  • Support the existing management team to stabilise the service.
  • Improve compliance, quality standards, and overall operational performance.
  • Review and strengthen care delivery systems and processes.
  • Address safeguarding, risk management, staffing, and occupancy challenges.
  • Drive improvements in team performance, accountability, and culture.
  • Implement robust action plans and monitor progress against agreed objectives.
  • Support preparation for inspections and regulatory engagement.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to deliver measurable improvements.
  • Create a positive and visible leadership presence throughout the home.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Residential Care Home Manager, Interim Manager, or Turnaround Manager.
  • A proven track record of successfully improving underperforming or challenged care services.
  • Strong knowledge of care inspectorate regulations, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Experience managing large residential care homes.
  • Demonstrable success in improving occupancy, staffing stability, quality outcomes, and operational performance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to quickly assess issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Availability to work on-site in Falkirk.
