We’re working with a dynamic and fast-growing healthcare provider that’s looking for a Community Nurse to provide expert renal and peritoneal dialysis care in patients’ homes across Essex. The Role

As a Community Nurse, you’ll deliver high-quality, compassionate care to adult and paediatric patients undergoing Automated and Manual Peritoneal Dialysis at home. You’ll be central to their treatment journey—building trust, ensuring safety, and providing meaningful support.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Connecting and disconnecting PD machines during home visits
  • Administering IV medication and monitoring vital signs
  • Providing catheter care and dressing changes
  • Managing infection control, medical supplies, and clinical waste
  • Collaborating with hospital PD teams for ongoing clinical input
  • Educating and reassuring patients and their families

What You’ll Need:

  • NMC registration (RGN or RCN)
  • Minimum 2 years of post-registration experience
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Essex (SS & CM postcodes)
  • The right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
  • Community experience is a bonus—but full training is provided
