Are you an experienced nurse seeking a rewarding new opportunity? Our client, a nationally recognized leader in cancer care, is looking for a dedicated Community Chemotherapy Nurse to join their team. This role offers the unique opportunity to provide chemotherapy treatments to patients in their own homes, across Chelmsford. As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you’ll start with a competitive salary of up to £42,640, with the potential for negotiation based on your experience. You’ll also receive either a company car or a car allowance of £4850. Your regular working hours will be Monday to Friday, with some weekend and bank holiday on-call duties as required. This client is a leading provider of cancer care services, constantly advancing the field with innovative treatments and care models that set new benchmarks in the industry. Compensation & Benefits: The Community Chemotherapy Nurse position comes with a robust benefits package: Salary up to £43,000, negotiable based on experience. Company car or £4850 car allowance. Mileage compensation. Paid NMC registration fees. Pension scheme with contributions. Private healthcare insurance. Continuous professional development and opportunities for career growth.Key Duties: Conducting blood tests and toxicity evaluations. Administering chemotherapy via IV and oral routes. Managing pump disconnections and line care. Delivering IM/SC injections. Working autonomously in the community with strong support from the nursing team. Staying current with advancements in oncology treatments and technologies.The Ideal Candidate: Valid NMC Pin as a Registered RGN Nurse. Prior experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy. Skilled in cannulation and venepuncture. Full, valid driving license.
