Clinical Lead Nurse (RNLD / RMN) – Complex Care | Surrey & Sussex We’re looking for an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse (RNLD / RMN) to join a respected provider of adult and paediatric complex care across Surrey & Sussex. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday (9–5) role with hybrid working — typically two days from home and three days in the community. Salary: £50,000–£55,000 DOE. As a Clinical Lead Nurse (RNLD / RMN), you’ll provide clinical leadership for community complex-care packages (adults & paediatrics). You’ll work closely with families, clients, CHC teams, and Surrey Heartlands & Sussex ICBs to ensure care is safe, personalised, and high quality. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee complex-care packages across home, school, and community settings in Surrey & Sussex. Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and competency sign-off for Nurses and HCAs; champion reflective practice and skills development. Build effective relationships with commissioners/ICBs and wider MDTs; support case reviews and new package mobilisations. Act as a visible, reliable point of contact for families and field staff; manage escalations and service recovery. Drive governance: safeguarding, risk assessments, personalised care planning, audits, and incident review with learning loops. What We’re Looking For Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration. 2+ years’ post-registration experience (community MH/LD and/or Tier 2 CAMHS advantageous). Confident working autonomously across a community patch; excellent communication and partnership skills. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
