Leaders in Care are currently recruiting for an experienced social worker to join a child protection team in a local authority in Berkshire. The location offers the ideal commute from either east London or most neighbouring areas (including Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey and Hampshire!) due to its excellent transport links, but the real draw of this particular role is the child protection team itself. Caseloads are kept manageable due to the diligent management team, whilst the smaller locality means minimal travelling as a social worker up and down the M4 – something most would rather avoid!

Within this child protection team you as a social worker will be completing the usual social work role including core groups, direct work with children and families and court work where necessary; there has also been significant notice given to ensuring you can complete your practice safely during the difficult period that Covid-19 has brought to social work. These include the flexible working arrangements for all social worker staff and the ability to work from home.

Leaders in Care are an agency who rewards you professionally and financially for your hard work as a social worker – you will have access to our market leading rates due to our loyalty bonus (up to £100/week) and if you have the flexibility to live away from home we can further supplement this with accommodation support to enable you to find a role that suits you anywhere in the UK.

If you would like to hear more about this role, or other roles with Leaders in Care, please contact Chris on 07897 028263 or email chris@leadersincare.co.uk with your CV.
