The role

As an AMHP Social Worker, you’ll complete mental health assessments, develop care plans and work closely with healthcare professionals, families and partner agencies to ensure people receive the right support at the right time. You’ll use your knowledge of mental health legislation and wider social care systems to make safe, person-centred decisions and achieve positive outcomes.

What you’ll need

  • A recognised Social Work qualification
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • AMHP qualification and practical AMHP experience
  • Strong understanding of mental health legislation and adult social care practice
