We are recruiting a Clinical Lead - Complex Care (Learning Disabilities) to join one of the UK’s leading complex care providers, delivering high-quality, person-centred care across services in Bedfordshire. This is a stable, Monday-Friday leadership role (no shifts or weekends), supporting services in and around Stagsden, Bridge End, Biddenham and Bromham. The role is suitable for candidates living within a 30-40 minute commute.

Role

As Clinical Lead - Complex Care (Learning Disabilities), you will provide hands-on clinical and operational leadership across complex care services, supporting individuals with learning disabilities including Autism and Cerebral Palsy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 20-30 staff
  • Provide strong clinical oversight and governance
  • Ensure care delivery meets CQC standards and best practice
  • Oversee care planning, audits, and risk assessments
  • Work closely with MDTs, families, and internal stakeholders

Essential Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RNLD or RGN) with valid NMC registration
  • Strong management experience is essential
  • Extensive experience supporting people with learning disabilities
  • Background in complex care, community, or residential settings
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
