As a Senior Biomedical Scientist in Histology, you will play a central part in tissue dissection and wider laboratory performance, helping to deliver high standards in a stable, digitally led service, based in Cambridge.

This Senior Biomedical Scientist role offers real scope to develop your practice, support colleagues and contribute to service improvement.

You will work closely with Consultant Pathologists and an experienced team, with time to focus on quality, consistency and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities Undertake routine and complex histological work with a focus on high-quality tissue dissection.

Act as an advanced point of reference for dissection, supporting consistency and best practice across the laboratory.

Manage dissection equipment and consumables to ensure continuity of service.

Support turnaround times, quality standards, training and competency assessment within the Histopathology team.

About You HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist.

Experience working in an ISO 15189 accredited Histology laboratory.

Proven tissue dissection experience, with the ability to work independently and support team performance.
