Are you an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager or senior nurse looking to take the next step in your leadership career?
We are recruiting for a Clinical Deputy Manager to join an established nursing home in Romford. Offering a salary of circa Β£60,000 per annum , this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced NMC Registered Nurse to join the management team of an independent, multi-site care provider.
Working closely with the Home Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service, providing strong clinical leadership to the nursing and care teams while maintaining high standards of care, compliance and resident experience.
The Role
As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will:
Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day operational management of the home
Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing and care teams
Oversee care planning, risk assessments and clinical governance
Maintain high standards in line with CQC regulations and best practice
Lead audits, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
Support staff supervision, training, development and performance management
Ensure appropriate staffing levels and contribute to rota planning
Build strong relationships with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals
Manage incidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns appropriately
Take responsibility for the service in the Home Manager's absence
About You
To be considered for this Clinical Deputy Manager position, you will need:
A valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
Previous experience as a Senior Nurse, Clinical Lead, Unit Manager or Deputy Manager
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and adult social care best practice
Experience leading and developing nursing and care teams
Good understanding of clinical governance, audits and quality assurance
Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills
