Residential Childcare Officer Jersey
This is your opportunity to join a highly regarded Residential Childcare Service in Jersey, Channel Islands, supporting children and young people with complex needs in dedicated short break homes. Offering £22.50 per hour (outside IR35) , this role includes free travel and shared accommodation , allowing you to maximise your take-home pay while making a genuine difference to children's lives.
Working within a trauma-informed, child-centred service, you will provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex physical and learning disabilities, autism, medical needs, communication difficulties, and other additional needs. You'll help create safe, nurturing environments where children can enjoy meaningful experiences, develop independence, and reach their full potential.
You'll become part of a supportive, experienced team working alongside families and a range of professionals including education, healthcare, CAMHS, social workers and other multi-agency partners. The service is led by an established management team committed to providing excellent support, supervision and professional development.
