Regional Quality Nurse Yorkshire and surrounding areas | Full-time | Hybrid
Salary: £55,000 to £60,000 per annum
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced, values-led nurse to join a well-established care provider supporting a portfolio of elderly care services across Yorkshire.
This is a highly visible regional role, focused on driving clinical quality, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across multiple homes. You will work closely with Home Managers and senior operational colleagues to identify risks, strengthen standards and ensure residents receive safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
This role would suit:
A Home Manager who particularly enjoys the quality, governance and improvement side of their role and is looking to move into a regional position.
An experienced Clinical Lead ready to progress into a broader regional quality role.
An established Quality Manager seeking a fresh challenge within a supportive, quality-focused care group.
The role As Regional Quality Nurse, you will support services across Yorkshire and the surrounding area, helping teams achieve and sustain excellent clinical and care standards.
Key responsibilities will include:
Carrying out planned and responsive quality audits across care homes.
Reviewing care plans, risk assessments, medication practices and clinical documentation.
Identifying areas of risk, analysing trends and producing clear, practical recommendations.
Supporting Home Managers to develop, implement and monitor improvement action plans.
Providing clinical guidance and hands-on coaching to managers and care teams.
Supporting services before, during and following regulatory inspections, including CQC.
Promoting best practice in medication management, safeguarding, infection prevention and control, dementia care and the management of long-term conditions.
Delivering training and contributing to the development of policies, procedures and clinical standards.
Building positive relationships with operational teams, residents, relatives and external professionals.
Using quality data and audit outcomes to drive sustainable improvement and positive resident outcomes.
