Overview
As Registered Manager for the Eastbourne branch, you will own operational, regulatory and commercial performance for a community-based complex care service. You will lead CQC registration and guide the branch through its first inspection while driving growth of adult and paediatric packages. You’ll maintain high standards in governance, safeguarding and quality, and actively expand care hours and packages. This role offers autonomy, cross-functional collaboration, and a clear path to long-term progression within a growing healthcare organisation.

Responsibilities
- Take CQC registration for the Eastbourne service
- Prepare and lead the branch through its first CQC inspection
- Oversee approximately 2,000 existing care hours per week
- Lead adult and paediatric community complex care services
- Maintain high standards across safeguarding, governance and quality
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments and service reviews
- Lead and develop operational and care teams
- Monitor staffing, care hours and branch performance
- Build relationships with clients, families, commissioners and case managers
- Support the mobilisation of new complex care packages
- Identify opportunities to increase care hours and grow the branch
- Drive continuous improvement across service quality and client experience
- Work closely with clinical and senior operational colleagues
Key requirements
- Previous management experience within community complex care, homecare or domiciliary care
- Experience supporting adult and/or paediatric complex care packages
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection requirements
- Previous experience holding CQC registration or taking responsibility for regulatory compliance
- Experience preparing a service for CQC inspection would be highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, governance and quality assurance
- Proven experience leading operational and care teams
- Commercial awareness and experience monitoring service performance
- Experience growing care hours, packages or branch performance
- Strong relationship-management skills with clients, families, commissioners and healthcare professionals
- A proactive, hands-on leadership style
