People Business Partner
Multi-site Healthcare Organisation | Β£45,000 to Β£55,000 per annum
A growing healthcare organisation is looking for an experienced People Business Partner to support services and central functions across the business.
This is a practical, operational role for someone who can strengthen workforce governance, coach managers and improve the colleague experience. You will work closely with senior leaders, helping to create consistent people practices, stronger leadership capability and a culture where colleagues feel respected, supported and accountable.
The role.
You will provide trusted HR support across a multi-site organisation, ensuring people processes are fair, robust and aligned with employment law, organisational policy and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence and performance management.
  • Leading and supporting complex employee relations processes.
  • Coaching managers to manage people matters confidently, consistently and fairly.
  • Supporting workforce planning, recruitment, retention and organisational stability.
  • Overseeing safer recruitment processes, including DBS checks, right to work, references and employment history verification.
  • Ensuring offer letters, contracts, variations and employment documentation are accurate, timely and audit ready.
  • Maintaining strong governance of personnel files, workforce records and people documentation.
  • Supporting the effective use of HRIS and workforce management systems, including Sona.
  • Improving data quality, reporting, compliance and system adoption.
  • Analysing workforce data, including absence, turnover, recruitment activity, retention and workforce risks.
  • Supporting policy development, review and document control.
  • Identifying gaps in process, compliance, record keeping and leadership practice.
  • Supporting onboarding, engagement, wellbeing and colleague retention initiatives. xgikmsk
