CYP Clinical Psychologist – ADHD Assessment Service £60,000–£66,500 | West Midlands | Full-time A good ADHD assessment should involve more than working through a checklist. This role gives a Clinical Psychologist the space to bring formulation, developmental understanding and differential thinking into a structured CYP ADHD pathway, working alongside a wider multidisciplinary team. You would contribute to diagnostic decisions through psychological assessment, formulation and clinical reasoning, with a clear emphasis on robust conclusions and useful communication for children, families and referrers. The service sits within a wider neurodevelopmental team including psychology, nursing, SALT, OT and medical colleagues, with senior clinical oversight and established governance structures around the pathway. Why consider it. There is protected time built into the week for the work that often gets squeezed elsewhere. Around 18–22 hours for assessment and feedback. 8–10 hours for report writing and formulation. 3–5 hours for MDT work, supervision, governance and audit. Separate time for liaison and administration.
