Adult ASD Assessor
Salary: £47,000 – £55,000 per annum | Full-time or part-time | Monday–Friday
Are you an experienced clinician with a background in adult autism assessment?
We are working with an established healthcare provider looking for an Adult ASD Assessor to join their clinical team and support high-quality autism assessments for adults.
The Role You will be part of a multidisciplinary service, working with individuals and other professionals to build a clear understanding of each person's presentation and reach evidence-based outcomes.
The role will include:
Completing structured autism assessments for adults.
Gathering relevant developmental, clinical and background information.
Reviewing developmental history and other supporting information.
Working with the wider MDT to support diagnostic decisions.
Writing clear, professional and neurodiversity-affirming reports.
Discussing assessment outcomes with individuals in a sensitive and accessible way.
What We're Looking For:
Current NMC, HCPC or another relevant professional registration .
Experience working within neurodevelopmental, mental health or adult autism services .
Experience contributing to or completing autism assessments for adults .
Strong clinical reasoning and the ability to work confidently within a structured assessment pathway.
