Adult Autism Assessor and Reviewer £46,148–£55,504 FTE | West Midlands | Hybrid | Full-time or part-time If you are experienced in adult autism assessment and want a role where there is proper clinical oversight, MDT input and time to make considered diagnostic decisions, this is worth a look. You will join an established, clinician-led neurodevelopmental service delivering adult autism assessments through a multidisciplinary model, alongside wider ADHD and CYP pathways. The role is focused on good diagnostic practice rather than simply increasing assessment volume. You will have responsibility for structured assessments, reviewing developmental history, functional impact, co-occurring needs and risk, before bringing more complex cases into MDT discussion. There is senior clinical oversight from a Consultant Psychiatrist and Clinical Lead, with support from colleagues across psychology, nursing, SALT, OT and the wider neurodevelopmental team.
