Are you an experienced Registered Manager with a strong track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings? Leaders In Care are working with a provider who are preparing to open their second children's home in Crewe. The home is a fully refurbished, high-quality 3-bed service supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD) and is ready to begin the registration process.

The missing piece is an experienced and capable Registered Manager who can take ownership of the service, lead the registration process and establish a high-performing home from day one.

About the Role

As Registered Manager, you will have genuine autonomy and responsibility for the successful development and operation of the home. You will be supported by an established provider but will have the opportunity to shape the culture, team and quality of care from the outset.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the registration process and preparing the home for opening
  • Managing and developing a dedicated staff team
  • Ensuring children receive outstanding care, support and safeguarding
  • Maintaining strong regulatory and Ofsted compliance
  • Developing a positive and nurturing culture within the home
  • Managing the home's operational and quality standards
  • Building strong relationships with children, families and professionals
  • Preparing the service to achieve a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating

About You

We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager who can demonstrate:

  • Significant experience as a Registered Manager within children's residential care
  • A proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, children's homes regulations and quality standards
  • Experience supporting children with EBD and/or LD
  • The leadership skills to build and develop a strong team
  • The confidence and competence to lead a new service through registration
  • A genuine passion for improving outcomes for children and young people

Ideally, you will be based locally to Crewe or within a reasonable commuting distance.
