Are you a Senior Specialist Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a real difference? This role offers the opportunity to work in a specialist residential centre, providing vital rehabilitation and care. This role is part time 24hours a week and offers a competitive salary of up to £54,710 (pro rata) depending on experience. As a Senior Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will: Provide strategic and professional leadership to the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. Work autonomously within the team to assess and manage communication impacts on daily life. Collaborate with service users and their social networks to overcome communication barriers. Develop management and rehabilitation plans, seeking specialist assessments as needed. Deliver training to staff and service users\’ social networks. Contribute to service and organisational development. Registration with the HCPC. Achieved Dysphagia Competencies. Specialist knowledge of SaLT models and interventions in ABI. Ability to manage complex dysphagia within an adult neurology caseload. Minimum of 4 years of qualified experience in complex case management.
