Senior Paediatric Nurse

As a Senior Paediatric Nurse, you will:

• Lead and manage a team of Registered Nurses (Band 5) and Children's Support Assistants
• Ensure high-quality care delivery
• Create empowering environments for children and families
• Conduct assessments and care planning collaboratively with families
• Support team development and engage with research opportunities
• Manage staff performance and development
• Deputise for the House Manager when needed

The ideal candidate for the Senior Paediatric Nurse position will have:

• Registered Nurse qualification and a degree
• Paediatric experience is essential
• Experience working with children and using advanced communication skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and understanding of professional boundaries
• Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care
• Experience supporting and mentoring other members of staff
